Winter Vacations In Pakistan
Students across Pakistan have received great news as winter vacations have now been officially announced for different regions. With the cold weather approaching fast, provincial education departments have confirmed the holiday schedules for Balochistan’s cold regions as well as Punjab. Here are the complete details every student should know.
Winter Vacations in Cold Regions of Balochistan
The government has announced that winter vacations in the cold regions of Balochistan will begin from December 16, 2025. These holidays will continue for two and a half months, during which:
- All government schools will remain closed
- Classes will resume after the winter break ends (dates to be announced by the department later)

Annual Exams Have Started in Chaman
While holidays are coming soon, students in Chaman have already started their annual examinations for Classes 1 to 7.
According to the Education Department:
- Exams for Classes 1–7 will run from November 16 to November 24, 2025
- Class 8 examinations under the Balochistan Board will begin from November 24, 2025
Students are advised to prepare well and complete their exams before the winter break begins.
Winter Vacations in Punjab Announced
Punjab has also officially announced its winter vacation schedule for the upcoming season.
- Winter vacations in Punjab will start from December 23, 2025
- Holidays will continue till January 11, 2026
- All schools (public and private) will reopen on January 13, 2026
- The new academic session will also begin from the same date
This schedule has brought relief to students and parents as cold weather continues to intensify across the province.
